[Public-List] Charging a battery on a mooring

We too keep our boat on a mooring, not set up for shore power at all.  I
have a small 10 watt solar panel I put out only when we leave the boat and
have never had a problem.   We also don't have much that uses up amps
either.  VHF radio and some lights we use sparingly The boat is quite tight
so the bilge pumps don't even run that often.   It works for us.
