[Public-List] Jyb track location on foredeck

With a block on the rail I don't think you can sheet the working jib to
its correct angle of attack.   I would  think bearing off is the only
solution.

Another thing you may be able to do, depending on the luff length of
your jib, is add a short pendant to the tack.  This has the same effect
on sail shape as moving the car forward.  The down side is that the
center of effort moves up & back, meaning more heeling & more weather
helm.  Usually not enough to be a problem though & if your sail is in
decent shape otherwise...
