Any girl who can reef & steer is worth a lot...  

When I was dating Caroline (who is now my sailor-girl wife) I was amazed at how apparently fearless she was working on the foredeck.   I'd say "take the tiller and I'll go up..."    She'd quickly say "it's OK I'll go". 

Later I found out she was afraid of steering and would do anything rather than steer...
