I would be interested in knowing what type of paint you intend to use for your bilge? I am contemplating the same idea for later this summer

I pulled my engine to have my transmission rebuilt and thought... Oh, look at all that free space - good time to repaint the bilge. So tried two or three cleaners to degrease the hull. All worked more or less, but after 30 years or so, each pass with a cleaner came up with more grime and dirt on the rags.
