iT eats ago, I fixed my gooseneck to a fixed position on the mast, got rid of the downhaul, installed a 5-part purchase Cunningham with a line long enough to reach the cockpit. Now when I want to adjust fluff tension on the main I don't have to go forward. I find it a big help.

My old roller furling gooseneck has also been welded up hard. The downhaul
is still in place. I was debating going with a cunningham arrangement but
left the downhaul. I also can send pics if you'd like.
