Bright side white. You can prime first if you are worried about adhesion. I may have some system 3 yacht primer...it is the best without equal.

I want to paint the tops of my spreaders this weekend at Maintenance Weekend.

They are solid teak and got 10 coats of Epifanes clear varnish 2 years ago when they were new.

What paint would be recommended for a good bond on top of the varnish  ?  I assume I would rough it up and put on two coats.
