Ron carries on his father's sailmaking business - the father, Joe, was the
man who made all Alberg 30 sails for the boats delivered from Whitby
Boatworks when they were new.

He carries on his father's sensitivity for making good sails for traditional
boats - he respects them and their sailors, as opposed to the big corporate
sail makers who may assume that a full keeled yacht designed fifty years ago
doesn't need quality in shape or material.

Ron is a craftsman, the real thing.
