[Public-List] Pelican Hooks in Lifelines

Back in July there was a discussion about not relying on the brass pelican hooks on the lifelines. This past weekend in the Rankin Regatta (as Canada II) I was trimming the spinnaker foreguy and put a hand on the lifeline and it popped. It turned out the end of the hook sheared off - not the pin failiure that was talked about.

I have replaced both with shackles
