Here's the basic visitor info regarding sewage rom Transport Canada. I'm not sure how so many mid sized powerboats work around those requirements given the popularity and simplicity of having a tiny head compartment with a porti pottie hold down straight from the builder. https://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/marinesafety/debs-obs-quick-quick_visitor-1610.htm

I couldn't find anything specific stating that porti potties are restricted on the chesapeake, but the attached document eludes to such by requiring MSD types I, II or III IF it has an installed toilet. There is some grey are around that language.
