[Public-List] Motor Replacement continued

   A few thoughts on replacement engines.  Back when I owned #240 I put a
   Yanmar 2GM in it.  This works well on the pre-liner boats, but on a
   liner boat the engine room pan gets in the way as the Yanmar is too
   deep.  Westerbeake and Beta are a better option in the liner boats and
   if I were to do a repower today I would go with the Beta.  Both
   Westerbeake and Beta are as near drop in replacements for the Atomic 4
   as you will find and are made on the same Kabota block.  When I did my
   repower Beta was the "new kid on the block", but they have now been
   around for a couple decades and actively marketing their product.

Don't know what other folks have.
#262 has a Yanmar 2GM20F installed by the previous owner, Tom Baker.  Tom
got two from Florida
#11 (?) Woody has the other 2GM20F from Tom, as far as I know.
#247 and #550, which I am familiar with from racing on them, both have
Atomic 4's
