[Public-List] Chain plate covers

I want to install chain plate covers on Journey, my 1967 A30(#216). My note that I took in Nova Scotia is that the dimensions are:  1/4" wide slot and the slot should be 1 3/4"long. Now that I'm back in Tenn., I'm not sure my notes are correct.
Can someone verify the measurements I took and recommend a source that I can order them here in the States?
