[Public-List] Soda blasting.

According to the yard I'm working with in Annapolis, they control the blasting PSI pressure to avoid hurting gelcoat or a previously applied barrier coat.  The one area he was concerned about was the rudder.  He had owned an Alberg in the past, and said the soda blasting can hurt the wooden strap covers. It will be done this weekend, so I can let you know how it turns out.

Dear all.

Our hull has to be completely cleaned off this year and I am interested in the idea of soda blasting. Has anyone had experince with it? Is there anything to be aware of, what's the cost like and would it damage a barrier coating already in place?
