   Everything I have read and otherwise learned agrees with George.
   Blasting is best done in the fall and the boat left bare over the
   winter.  Let as much moisture dry out as possible to avoid blistering
   the barrier.
   I went through this last winter (2013-14) primarily because the PO
   hadn't properly prepped the bottom for the barrier.
