James,
In the case of my 1966 boat, back around 1990 we had a machinist friend
fabricate a welded stainless steel doubler, something of overkill, but
it's held up great. It had two "side" plates and a bottom member welded
to the side plates that followed the curve of the deck. We jacked up the
beam against the hull under the floor and drilled for the through-bolts.
If you are not inclined to fabricate or making something yourself, I
believe that the A-30 association made a batch of aluminum plates that
serve this purpose, some time in the past. Some might still be
available. If none are available, I am sure that a drawing is available
from someone on the list. This is the "standard repair" for the mast
beam delamination problem, and it seems like much less work than
fabricating a new curved beam.
If you install these plates, make sure there is clearance between the
top edges of the plate and the bottom of the deck, and that the beam it
is jacked to the right height, before drilling for the through-bolts.

I have access to a shop to make one from metal, but would like to have a set of drawings, at least the over all measurements, and curve. thanks for any help, feel free to send pm to junkflyboy at yahoo dot com
