[Public-List] Cockpit Coaming

While at the dock before Sunday's races during the Rankin regatta this
year, heard that the Albergs where not designed with self-tailing winches
in mind. The stresses on the winch can be too much. The starboard winch
ripped out of #262 some years ago while being raced on the Magothy. The
starboard winch on #244 ripped out this year...perhaps on Saturday during
the Rankin regatta. John Maliszewski would have information about #262.
Tim Williams would have information about #244.

On #262, the jib cleats are on the coaming, so a different placement will
need to be found, unless self-tailers are used.
