[Public-List] Summer

We have had the most wonderful summer now that Trish is retired. We spent the month of May cruising the Chesapeake and put over 600 miles on the Alberg. After a month at home, we spend 2 weeks in Maine at the family cabin. We returned home to 'regroup' and then travelled to Alaska for a 14 day land/cruise trip. In between trips, we managed to put a new roof on our home, new siding and all new trim on our boat house, install refrigeration on our beloved Alberg 30 plus a new insulation and all new counter tops (she looks great!). This is all done with the normal maintenance items (new bottom paint, repairs to wiring, refinish brightwork, etc.). This year has been rewarding...but I think we need a rest! As fall approaches, we are looking forward to the A30 fall cruise and spending quiet time by the fireplaceover the winter months. If you are wondering why I have not responded to posts on the list, now you know why...I have not had the time.
