Ooops... sorry, I suppose I could have added my name. I don't post much here, usually a fly on the wall.
If you do decide to route back to the cockpit, consider proximity to whoever is trimming the guy. The J/boats route to a cam cleat near the cabin top winches where the sheet/guy is trimmed. I think its a little different on the Albergs (Backfin is... shall we say, vintage).
