[Public-List] Cleaning and caring for the cabin woodwork

Folks

Just read John Vigor's blog (johnvigor.blogspot.com) for July 7th in which
he mentions lemon oil.

Is that what folks use on the woodwork below?
Over varnish or polyurethane or whatever?

My wife mentioned Old English lemon oil as something that I might use on
the woodwork below not that it all washed.  Some is finished, bulkheads for
instance.  Some is raw and worn smooth, handrails and rail on top of settee
backs for example.
