[Public-List] Two Winches on the Mast

Hey all,

I've got just one winch on the mast, and we use if for the main. My crew is
pushing for a second winch that can be used for the head sail.   I've got a
spare bronze winch I can use, but would need to fabricate a base for it.

My question: Is the mast strong enough to add a new set of holes for the
2nd winch? The mast aluminum wall is pretty think, so I'm guessing no
issues with strength.

Location? I was thinking 8 inches above or below the 1st winch.
