[Public-List] Public-List Digest, Vol 3285, Issue 4

I would be skeptical that the outboard prop will stay in the water, especially one mounted on a stern bracket, in heavy seas. I like outboards, have a 20 ft outboard cuddy cabin boat and am looking for a 26 -30 ft outboard walk around cabin boat, but I like my Yanmar inboard on my Alberg. If I were only day sailing and motoring in and out of a harbor and had some crew to help with sail handling I might consider a Torqueedo (sp?) electric outboard, but they are not cheap. But I sometimes use my boat like a trawler so I like having the inboard.

How do you not include all the previous replies in a reply?
