I have a Raymarine ST2000 tiller pilot. It's OK, but the terminal
where the cable plugs in keep rusting and have to be cleaned once a year.
Raymarine tech support consists of a moderated user forum.
I tried posting questions but they were deleted because they
didn't reflect well on Raymarine's products. I eventually re-worded
the question so as to not sound too disparaging of Raymarine.
The answer was a new 150$ cable. When I asked (several times,
with increasing care as to the wording) whether this cable
was made of corrosion resistant materials, the answer was that
it was just the same as the old one.

Would not do business with Raymarine ever again.
