I would question a couple of things here: The SS rail trim is not flat like
the drawing. It is hollow; so if you file the SS flat with the deck you
will have an open slot for water and crap to gather in.  I would carefully
clean the area under the teak at the scuppers and lay gell coat there flush
with the upper edge of the SS trim. Yes, it will be gently uphill for the
last oz. of water, but that will evaporate quickly when the sun gets to it.
I am sure that the pegboard core does not run to the edge. It is more like
the drawing here.
