Wow, you guys are simply the best! This must be the cause as I did notice that the liquid was somewhat oily.  I think at haulout the boat was positionned differently than last year  and the front jackstand would be pretty much under this area.  Perhaps it is causing a bit of pressure on this sealed water box so i will slacken the pad a bit and monitor.  Might need a bit of epoxy and top up of oil before next spring.  Many thanks for the link on fitting this hull water box.  This place is great.
