[Public-List] Fuel tank

Happy Thanksgiving to all south of the border!

Next year I'll be putting the engine back in the boat and at this time I have the original fuel tank out. In planning for getting it all back together,  have people put their tanks in other locations than below the cockpit sole?  If it was possible to have in another location I think it would make working on the shafts packing etc much easier.  

What say you?
