The sight of yachts with radar arches, dinghy davits (with dinghy), expanses of solar panel and full cockpit enclosures (which we call 'oxygen tents') are offensive... But a benefit is this: they kill the performance of the yachts they're piled onto enough that a  30 footer can slide by them...
