So, the rains came, and it blew and blew, and poured on the Berg the past couple of days. I was dubiously cautious as I drove the to yard to inspect her. Results of the genoa track fix were in, it worked. Not a bit of moisture was entering along the hull/deck seam bolts.

My approach was to address the obvious rather than the possible and for this instance it was a success. Still waiting on my re-manufactured chain-plates, I had re-taped each mount site with protective tape twice around and this worked fine to deter the water running about and down the deck. This effectively resisted any water from running in and down the bulkhead in the v-berth. Final installation with BoatLife should conclude this matter once the new pieces arrive.

Re-bedding both cap rail and genoa track and then reputting with sealant each genoa track bolt and insuring a mostly consistent torque for each nut was a success. Every bolt was dry, cabinet was dry, and the Berg was happy

And Skeep is happy. Thanks for comments and advice, all is taken with great appreciation.
