[Public-List] 2017 Osius -- Go the Distance!

Folks,

This year's race will be a *10 to 20 nautical mile distance race.*  Sailing
the legs of the race will determine the results.  Positioning for the start
and rounding of marks will be much less important than the standard "around
the buoys" racing.   Any Alberg 30, cruiser or racer, can post a good
result.  What could be nicer than spending a lovely day on the Bay sailing
in company with a number of fellow Albergers!

Come on out for the 2017 Ted Osius Memorial Race to be held on Sunday June
25th....two weeks from today!    This year's race will be a *10 to 20
nautical mile distance race* around government marks starting the area of R
"2" off Tolly Point.   Rendezvous at 10:00AM and first warning at 10:55AM.
  Race will end by 4:00PM.

Entry deadline is 22nd June and costs $50, but don't wait...procrastination
often leads to disappointment.  Registration is available via this Regatta
