Well, I like the depth sounder as comparing with the chart I can have a 
cross-check on where we are. The speed meter helps me trim the sails to 
best purpose. While seldom out of sight of land on the Bay, the shores 
are low and tend to look alike. (Went into the wrong creek once) Only 
have had the chart plotter a little over a year. Most useful in fog.
