[Public-List] Zincs for Lakes

Actually there is sufficient salinity on the Great Lakes to conduct
current and zink anodes are always advisable and effective assuming you
have a good connection to the shaft nut and it hasn't oxidized where it
connects. Interestingly, Hamilton Harbour has double the salinity of
   Lake Ontario.

I am pretty sure Huron near Goderidge has elevated salinity as well.

If you dock at marinas you should have anodes due to unpredictable
stray currents. Never swim in marinas as most of you already know due
   to the stray current issue.

   Cheers

   John

I think you need salinity for conductivity.
