[Public-List] vent(s) for replacement holding tank

When I began fixing up Nevermore I tore out everything involving the old head. I did quite a bit of research with my options and decided it would be more functional and less expensive to get a composting toilet and I have never regretted it. With that there (from what I found almost two years ago) were three options. I went with the C-Head which is the simplest one and little smaller than the others. It instals very nicely in the Alberg. I never installed the vent tubing (someday) and found it to be not that necessary. As far as usage, in total, I have spent at least a months worth of nights on Nevermore this year and have just now emptied it a second time. I use Peet moss which is really cheap and am still using the same original bag I bought at Home Depot.

For the interim, I built a little pedestal to set the toilet on which has worked very nicely. Not pretty yet, but I’m more function over fashion right now (allows me to sail more often and sooner). If I remember right the whole thing cost me about $800. Also for the used toilet paper. I have a plastic cereal bin where I put in a plastic bag, seal the lid over and around that. I have one with a large enough spout where I just stuff the paper inside. It works very well.
