If you’re worried the screws may be corroded and that they may break… better it happen while you’re working on it than at sea.

If you break one, then drill and tap a new one just over from the old one (if you can’t get the corpse of the old one out)

And here’s a thought… our Voyager Self Steering Vanes are all-aluminium but for fasteners.  When they’re going into cast aluminium, as some of them do, we bed them in waxy grease to inhibit corrosion as time goes by.   We use an expensive machinist’s compound for this… but you might use the waxy grease the comes as a donut for sealing toilet installations.  Those are cheap, and I’ve been told work nearly as well.  Wipe the waxy stuff onto the threads of your screws before driving them into the fitting.
