[Public-List] Black Locust for mast beams?

 I used okoume for a beam in another boat, worked great. No need to resaw, just laminate enough layers to get to your desired thickness. Strong and takes a mold and epoxy very well. I like the look too. I think I used 4mm but I believe you can get it as thin as 3mm.

 Black locust is a preferable alternative to ash.  Looks just about like it when varnished… superior rot resistance and very good gluing properties.
