[Public-List] Another winch question

I am also in need of a pawl spring for one of my cockpit spinnaker winches. They’re original equipment from #433 which was built in 1970. The link that was posted earlier to Hutton-Arco
indicates that the springs are compatible for almost all Barlow/ Barient winches. This would appear to be what I also need. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated

However, there is a thick coating of coarse FG cloth and resin on the blade that is cracked and peeling. The rudder seems to be undamaged. I?m in the process of scraping and sanding the old coating/finish, but I need advice as to how the rudder should be refinished. Should I put up a layer of FB cloth and epoxy, coat with barrier paint, and then anti fouling? Is the FB and resin necessary?
