[Public-List] New Sails - reef points

Hi Greg - 

Reefing headsails is an old idea from the days cotton sails… it can still work, but I’d only recommend it if one is doing long passages without much tacking.  Tacking tends to literally shake out the reef.  Aside from that, reefing headsails is a fine idea.
