McHale's Navy you say? Well I hadn't heard of it so I gave an episode a
watch. Seemed to be the opposite of a wholesome show. Bunch of corny
slackers being foolish.

Gun Smoke is corny as all get out too, but the men are men and the losers
lose.

Honesty, integrity, ethics. That's what I mean by "wholesome".
