Poke fun at war all ya want, I just don't endorse crappy role models.
I think role models are important. A lot of people don't. A lot of people
get frustrated thinking about morals & values and the way those are
communicated. Too hard.
They get the idea since it's so hard to think about that it ain't worth
thinkin' about. They get the idea that anyone who puts thought into must
have somethin' wrong with'em.
Well, I disagree with those people.
It's true this is supposed to be a sailing list centered on A30s. And I
tell you what, I learned more about life on my A30 than I ever did watchin'
TV.
So maybe the argument could be made that I should shut my big preachy mouth
up and stick to the subject at hand: boats. Specifically A30s.
But, logic and politeness have never been big strengths of mine.
