[Public-List] Hurricane help

[A30 Kittiwake]

I bought Kittiwake #76 about a week ago and now there’s a storm coming. The
marina I’m in doesn’t have any more blocks to haul me out. Even if they
could, I’d be concerned about the surge. The boat is just north of Newport
News in Hayes, VA. I drove threes hours yesterday to check on her after the
last rains and had to walk the last mile through up to a foot of water.

Any advice on what to do?  It’s my first boat and I don’t have sailing
experience yet.
