Perhaps, though David's description was really good at describing the
seized set screws, difficulty with bearing removal, and other such
slowdowns.
The only other big slowdown I remember from my own bearing replacement
was that I couldn't get the machine key out of the keyway in the engine
end of the shaft to allow the shaft to be removed without pulling the
engine out of the way. Fortunately, I was replacing the shaft anyway
(it was a few thou off of straight when I subsequently tested it by
rolling it along a reference surface, which may by why the bearing ended
up needing replacement in the first place).
