[Public-List] Galley Sink

Tee fittings in drain lines are generally bad news.

I always keep the galley seacock closed unless I am actively using the
sink. It's good habit and I won't "forget" when it's time to get underway.
Even with the boat at dead level the waterline is only a few inches below
the bottom of the sink. One of the "old timers" told me at the early boats
(like mine) were originally built with the ice box drain teed off the port
side cockpit drain hose. Little artifacts like this suggest that plumbing
wasn't Whitby's strong suit.
