Hello friends, 

Despite the fact that it is still looking like winter here… the calendar says ‘March’ and to me that means spring might happen after all.

… and what THAT means is that Surprise is soon going to be going into the shop for repairs and a paint job to erase the damage from our racing collision last September.

I’m starting to puzzle over how to figure out how tall she is in her cradle, keel to highest point in the coachroof at the storm hood of the companionway.  This measurement is of some interest because the height of the doors of the repair shop is finite.

Has anyone come up with a figure they’re confident about, and would care to share?
