[Public-List] bimini

     I have a bimini that zips to the aft end of the dodger and at the 
stern is held up by an inverted U-shaped stainless tube that has its 
ends attached to the deck in a way that  allows it to pivot back and 
forth (not that once in place it moves). The inverted hoop has straps 
that attach to the base of the stern pulpit to hold the thing upright. 
It goes under the boom of course. It is not really in the way when sailing.
