I've used the Novus scratch remover and polish products to restore luster
and remove light scratches from polycarbonate motorcycle windshields. It
comes in three grades. No. 1 is a cleaner and polish only--no abrasives.
Start with that. No 2 is for light scratches and No. 3 for heavier
scratches. I've not used it on a compass dome, so YMMV.
