I’ve been insured by Allstate for 25 years, without an initial or recurring survey. I may be grandfathered into a coverage which is no longer generally available. I have been very satisfied with their service when I had claims. Also, the coverage includes $500. of towing reimbursement for an annual cost of $20.Jay

If BOAT Us requires an actual survey you will have to pay a marine
surveyor.  Did you have a survey done before you purchased? You can use
that .  When we re-up our insurance survey we can do an owner’s survey.
