[Public-List] A-30 sail question

I believe the Pardy's were proponents of hollow leeches-no roach at all, 
for controlling chafe. An issue, perhaps, for trans ocean voyaging. I 
personally like to sail a vessel to the limits of it's design, but I am 
not leaving a main up for weeks at a time.
Anyway, part 2 , section 11 B allows (4) battens of any length.
