Hello,
I am looking to replace the sail on my 1966 A-30, #201. I am thinking of
buying a new sail from Precision Sails, the current sail is extremely
old. Called bacon and a few others but no luck. Precision is asking
$1,400 with standard battens.
Any experience with Precision Sails?
Is it OK to use A-30 standard measurements, or are measurements really
necessary? I would expect not too much variability for class racing.
Last question is that since I have never raced the boat, and don't plan
to, any comments on switching to full battens? I realize it would not be
conforming.
Thanks,
