Mike,
A few years ago, I got quotes to have my A30 Awlgripped. The prior Awlgrip was almost 20 years old.
A top yard in Annapolis quoted $10,000. They would drop the mast and do the work in a climate controlled building.
A small yard in the southern bay quoted $2,500. They would tent the boat while painting.
I ended up having the old Awlgrip buffed for $200., and it now looks almost as good as new.
A friend of mine paints his own boat periodically with Brightside, and is happy with the results. It looks good.
Check your options, they may surprise you.

The cost of painting your topsides depends on how much repair work needs to be done in the prep stage.

I had Surprise painted for $7,000 taxes in, which included collision damage resulting from being rammed.
