 David - We bought our A30 new in 1965 (#76)- the price was $10,000. I
don't
 believe that price included sails. The sails were about $2,500 (main,
150
 jib and spinnaker). I believe the price in 1970 was about $15,000
total. We
 sold our boat in 1979 for $18,000.. We owned it for 14 years, cruised
and
 raced it hard, and loved the boat. Later, in 1998 we bought #550 for
 $16,000 and sold it in 1983 for $23,000. She had an exceptional
racing
 record which accounted for that price.
