[Public-List] Original price of an Alberg 30

I was just reading an article  titled "The ten thousand dollar boat" in an
old copy of Pacific Yachting from 1974. For reference, a house in Vancouver
apparently costs $30,000 and the average annual salary is $15,000,
according to the article. It lists the different options, used and new,
wood and fiberglass, all around 26 feet and shorter. Towards the end it
says:

"Interestingly enough, $10,000 seems to be a break of some sort as there
are few boats from that point up to $16,000 where you start on the yacht
class with boats like used Alberg 30s"
