[Public-List] Rudder and cabin roof cross beam

Hi.  I wondered about that possibility.  Yesterday I downloaded a protractor and measured the tiller offset, it is 12 degrees to starboard - at 6 knots coasting, no sails, no power.  Every component on the steering system is new - shoe, gudgeon, pintle, tiller head.  It would appear that at some point in this boats 56 year history a hole was drilled in the rudder shaft with an incorrect orientation.

Are you seeing the 7* under power?  Between a little slop in the tiller
head and fighting a little prop walk that wouldn’t be unheard of.
