[Public-List] Tachometer trauma resolution...

Hello Gang, 

My mechanical tachometer cable arrived about 40 minutes ago… I downed tools here in the office (well closed my computer…) and shot over to the sailing club to see if it fit.   A quick comparison with the old cable indicated it looked like it should.

At the club I jumped out of the car and opened up the motor compartment, stuck my head in and wahoo… the engine end fit perfectly into the accessory drive on the engine.  So far so good.

I pushed the cable up into the starboard cockpit locker through the access space beside the engine… up in the cockpit I hung upside down and gingerly pushed the instrument end of the cable into the 90 degree drive fitting behind the tachometer.   That end fit too.

I started the engine… double wahoo… I have a tach again, and still have the original Universal Atomic IV instrument panel.
